At ANZ our purpose is to shape a world where people and communities thrive and to achieve this, we need a talented Engineer to join our Data Digital and Transaction Banking team. The team provide a world class Digital bank for corporate and Institutional clients, delivering a superior customer experience across Cash Management, Foreign Exchange, Trade Finance and Lending products.
As an Engineer you will work collaboratively with the ANZ Institutional business in a fast-paced environment to deliver optimal customer outcomes and values.
What will your day look like
Help build and run of a digital platform comprising a unified security, registration and user experience with supporting partner integration services and widgets.
Support the developed and delivery of payment, reporting, commercial card and security self-service application capability on top of the platform.
Also support the integration of partners into the platform.
What will you bring?
Strong development experience with Java 8+ and SpringBoot
Experience with microservices architectures
Worked in REST API development for external consumers and for internal microservice communication
Strong experience in devOps principles and CI/CD pipelines
SQL database persistence frameworks JPA, Hibernate
Developed responsive user interfaces using modern Javascript frameworks such as ReactJS, VueJS, AngularJS.
Automating functional and non-functional tests with testing frameworks such as CucumberJS, RestAssured, WebdriverIO, Jmeter
Experience with event-driven architectures, patterns, tools and protocols such as kafka, IBM MQ and AMQP on RabbitMQ.
The following skills/experiences are highly regarded:
Cloud platforms (e.g. GCP, AWS)
Docker and Kubernetes platforms (e.g. Openshift, EKS, GKE)
Enterprise platform experience with a high volume of transactions / users
Experience with Typescript, Node.js, MongoDB and Redis
An understanding of the CQRS development pattern
